We found ways to save money in the long run

We assure you these are real and are only available for a limited period

We all have different dreams and ambitions in life. But if there’s a goal we collectively agree on, it’s to become rich and shop for everything we want without worrying about the price. And yes, we need to work hard to achieve that. There’s nothing wrong with trying our luck with promos at times though, so we’ve listed some ongoing ones that may help us save money (or even win cash).

Scratch your luck

Sit through a company product presentation at Cocolife and get a chance to win as much as P15,000. Here’s how: After the presentation, you’ll be asked to pick one card from a bowl. Scratch the card to see if you win a cash prize worth P250, P1,500, P2,500 or P15,000. That’s it. You’re not even obligated to buy anything to join the promo.

Visit your nearest Cocolife mall location until May 31, 2021 and approach a product agent to get an invite. (Make sure you follow the minimum safety protocols!) This is eligible for individuals and couples ages 18 to 59. Only one visit per person is allowed while the promo period runs. Oh, and winners will get their cash prizes immediately!

Gadgets at 0% installment

You’ve probably been wanting a new phone or laptop since time immemorial but haven’t been able to buy one due to budget restrictions. With Bank of the Philippine Islands’ credit card, you may now enjoy 0% installment for up to 36 months when you buy at least P3,000 worth of products (single receipt) from BPI’s partner merchants.

Gadgets from Electroworld (one of BPI’s partner merchants)

Or you may opt for a buy now, pay later setup where you can get the product immediately and pay three months after. To qualify for the promo, you must use your participating BPI card to pay for your purchases. Terms and conditions may vary per partner merchant and may be available for select items only.

Five-years-to-pay insurance plan

We get it, most of you shy away from insurance plans and it’s either because you don’t believe you need it or you think it’s too expensive. But trust us, you need it and it’s going to potentially save your finances in the future. If you’re still hesitating, you may check out Manila Bankers Life Insurance Corporation’s “Money Saver,” a five-years-to-pay insurance plan that will provide you with various cash benefits you may use for travel, retirement, savings and more.

Interested? Visit your nearest MB Life Insurance Corporation branch and schedule an appointment with a product agent. (Again, please observe quarantine rules!) Individuals between 18 and 64 years old are eligible to apply for this plan.

ATM savings with P2,000 maintaining balance

A high initial deposit or minimum maintaining balance is one of the major reasons most people refuse to open a savings account. And it seems China Bank took this into consideration as you can now open an ATM savings account for as low as P2,000. Maintain a monthly minimum balance of P2,000 for it to be active and P10,000 to gain interest. You may monitor your finances and transact online via China Bank mobile app anytime.

There’s also an ongoing promo for current China Bank Mastercard cardholders. Get a chance to be one of the 1,600 winners of P5,000 worth of SM Gift Passes when you shop at The SM Store (a minimum of P5,000 single receipt purchase) using your Mastercard. This promo runs until June 30, 2021 and claiming of prizes is until August 29, 2021.
