Here’s to a delicious intervention!
Is work getting too demanding? Whether you’re calling it a day or filing an overtime, there’s always a way to treat yourself for being the #girlboss that you are. You can never go wrong with food especially the dishes that remind you of home. We gathered Filipino classics reinterpreted by awesome local restaurants.
1. Sizzling Sisig from Kuya J
Let’s start with a mouthwatering serving of sizzling sisig. Kuya J’s version cooks the chopped pork belly into a crispy offering. Hints of onion and chili are added along with raw egg topping. We won’t judge if you follow up on extra rice and beer!
Kuya J is located at the Lower Ground Level of SM City Dasmariñas.
2. Sinigang na Hipon from Mesa
When it comes to the ultimate Filipino classic dish, sinigang is meant to rival adobo. The signature sour soup is served with variety of meat and vegetables! We like sinigang na hipon for a seafood twist. Mesa makes a unique sinigang flavor with hints of guava and pineapple for a rich, vibrant taste.
Mesa is located at the Upper Ground Level of SM City Dasmariñas.
3. Tapsilog from Buku-Buku Kafe
Our list won’t be complete without a silog meal! Buku-Buku Kafe does a fancy-log take on tapsilog with an IG-worthy plate of tender beef steak plus aromatic garlic rice, sunny-side up egg and side veggies done right. You can also order other favorite silog ulam like longganisa, chicken tocino and daing na bangus. Now you’ll feel too #blessed to be #stressed after a hearty meal.
