The Culinaire County Fair is one of the most anticipated exclusive events at the SMX Convention Center. And this year, it did not fail to deliver. As a signature event, Culinaire is where recurring and new clients come together to savor different food creations of 15 accredited caterers. The theme for this year was a county fair.

Held last September 4, participants of the event included Conrad Manila, Albergus Catering, Hizon’s, Josiah’s Catering, EventShaker MobileBar, LJC Restaurant Group, Manila Catering, Tamayo’s Catering, Tjioe the Caterer, Via Mare, M Catering & Fine Foods and Kitchen City Catering. Every year, awards are given to recognize who has the Best Set Up, Best Dessert, and Best Main Course.

Newcomer to the accredited list The Creamery won Best Set up and Best Main Course. On the other hand, Bizu Catering Studio won Best Dessert while Juan Carlo the Caterer took home the special award for Best Pie.

Over 700 guests enjoyed delectable food and a few even walked away with gift certificates from partner hotels Conrad Manila, Park Inn by Radisson Clark, Park Inn by Radisson Davao, Radisson Blu Cebu, Taal Vista Hotel and Pico Sands Hotel.

Adding to the fun was Pouch Nation and Pose360’ as event partners, who provided tap ID system for registration, casting of votes and 360’ photo booth, respectively. Nvance Marketing provided the video and photography.

SMX Convention Center VP-General Manger Walid Wafik mentioned how this is only the beginning of a bright future. The  SMX Convention Center will launch and support sustainable environmental, social, and governance projects this year by adopting a day care center in Barangay Baclaran. Next year, a 2nd stand-alone convention facility will rise in Clark, Pampanga, making it the 8th property of the SMX Convention Center group.
