Here’s what we know about BLACKPINK: THE SHOW

Got your BI-Ping-Bongs ready for BLACKPINK’s first online concert?

If you’re a BLINK then you’d know that BLACKPINK will be having their  first online concert titled, THE SHOW, this Jan. 31, 2 P.M. (KST)!  Initially planned as a world tour to celebrate BLACKPINK’s debut album, THE ALBUM, the online event allows Blinks everywhere to share the concert experience at the same time. Initially scheduled to take off last December, the decision to stream the concert was made for the safety of both the artists, the crew, and the fans. As a fellow BLINK myself, I am still shaken to the core that we are getting a concert this early in the year!

This online concert will be streamed on one of the biggest online streaming platforms, YouTube. Streaming access can be bought by becoming a paid member to the BLACKPINK YouTube Channel. Moreover, for those going through that PCD, or post concert depression, Plus members of the channel will be given exclusive access to behind the scenes content such as band sessions, rehearsals, and shooting to be uploaded during the month of February. As the newest ambassador of Globe, the telecommunications company gave away free access passes to 21 lucky Globe users through a scratch to win feature on the GlobeOne app which unfortunately ended yesterday. A big congratulations to the winners! (that should be me!!! huhu)

Sneak peek Pretty Savage performance at The Late Late Show with James Corden.

The record breaking female group has already given their fans a preview of what to expect for their online concert during a performance at The Late Late Show with James Corden. It was also revealed that other than all 8 songs from their recent album, they will also be performing 7-12 of their old yet still beloved songs. Can I hear a BOOMBAYAH?

And get this: WE ARE GETTING A FIRST LOOK AT MISS ROSEANNE’S SOLO? HELLO? It’s the moment fans have been waiting for since 2019 when hints of Rosé’s solo started surfacing. Rosé will be the second member, following Jennie, to have her solo debut but this time with not just a song but her own EP?! Said to be different from the usual upbeat and pop music of the group, Rosé’s solo is more soulful with a hint of innocence—something definitely worth anticipating.
